Microsoft Excel Expert

Duration :  Total content 32 Hrs  Lectures 20 Hrs (5 * 4hrs)  Workshops 8 Hrs  Project Presentation 4 hrs	OS Platforms : Windows XP, Windows Vista
Purpose : To gain an expert understanding of Microsoft Excel. To be able to build complex Excel workbooks using VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) and build Excel based business intelligence applications.
Audience : Business Managers who need to gain expert skills in analysing data and designing and building small desktop applications.
Prerequisites : Completed Advanced Excel or equivalent.
Content : Students are expected to complete at least one sizable real life project during the course.   The theoretical content of the course covers :-  - Avanced Excel Review - External Data Queries, Pivot Tables, Validation, Advanced Formulas. (4hrs)   - Foundation VBA for business users (12hrs)  - Specialised Excel VBA Techniques (4hrs)  Format :  Bi-weekly lessons ; weekly workshops. Following the conclusion of the theoretical lessons, the workshops continue for a further four weeks. Homework : Students are required to prepare a presentation for each session. Final project presentations are formally delivered to directors of the company.
